About us
Our ethos
Whilst I’ve eaten clean for my entire adult life, my journey to low tox really began when I fell pregnant with my first baby in 2021. I started reading the labels of all the products in our home. I couldn’t believe that many shampoos, conditioners, scented candles, perfumes and even cleaning products had clear warnings “May cause reproductive harm”. I began replacing our products with natural alternatives that didn’t damage my families health.
Being a stay at home mum, finding ways to economically feed our family well was important. We began purchasing a half cow from our butcher every 6 months and I started making tallow from the beef suet in our freezer. I learnt how to make sourdough bread, fermenting, growing organic produce from seed, started our own compost, worm farm and food co-op. All whilst having a little helper by my side.
Those little moments of joy, making my first batch of tallow, seeing my sourdough starter rise or germinating a seed have inspired me as a mother, connected me with my village and I hope to now, share that knowledge with you.
Natural Knowledge, made.
